TERMS & CONDITIONS – Gardenia Children's Day Short Video Challenge 2022

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Step 1: Like and Follow GardeniaKL Official Facebook & Instagram page

Step 2: Record a video of no less than 30 seconds or more than 1 minute in duration of your best moments with Gardenia.

Step 3: Share your video on your Facebook/Instagram between 20 November to 10 December 2022, and set your profile to public.

Step 4: Tag two friends and include #GardeniaCares #RecordYourBestMomentsWithGardenia #ChildrrensDay2022

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The Gardenia Children's Day Short Video Challenge 2022 will run from 20th November 2022 and ends on 10th December 2022 at 11:59 pm.

  2. The Gardenia Children's Day Short Video Challenge 2022 is open for all Malaysians aged 6 - 18 years old, and currently residing in Peninsular Malaysia only.

  3. Participants must follow all 4 steps of HOW TO PARTICIPATE in the Gardenia Children's Day Short Video Challenge 2022 Contest as stated above. Entries that are not clear / incomplete and do not comply with all the terms & conditions required will be disqualified.

  4. Each participant can submit more than one entry. However, only ONE entry will be evaluated and eligible to win prizes during the contest period, if selected.

  5. Participants who meet all the contest requirements will be shortlisted and a total of eight (8) winners from each category will be selected by judges based on the most creative submission.

  6. 16 winners will be selected during the contest period with a total cash prize of RM1,600 (Ringgit Malaysia One Thousand and Six Hundred only).

    Category A: 6 – 12 years old Category B: 13 – 18 years old

  7. Announcement of the winner will be made on 23rd December 2022 and it will be announced on the GardeniaKL Official Facebook and Instagram.

  8. GardeniaKL will select the winners based on the criteria below:

    1. Participant follow all steps on “How to Participate” as stated above. (Please refer to HOW TO PARTICIPATE in the Gardenia Children’s Day Short Video Challenge 2022 for more information).
    2. The most creative submission.
    3. Winners will also be selected at the discretion of GardeniaKL.

  9. The organizer reserves the right to obtain proof of participation as above, and is not limited to HOW TO PARTICIPATE Step 1 - Step 4 for the selection of winners.

  10. Winners need to Private Message (PM) GardeniaKL to provide the following information:

    1. Participant/ Children’s Full Name (as per Malaysian Identification Card)
    2. Copy of children’s MyKad/ MyKid (As a security measure, please ensure to cross and write ‘For GardeniaKL Children's Day 2022 Only’ on the copy of the Card)
    3. Contact Number
    4. Email Address
    5. Bank Name
    6. Bank Account Number

  11. Cash prizemoney is non-transferable. Winners must provide bank information in their own name only. The cash prize will be made by "Online Transfer" within 14 working days.

  12. If GardeniaKL did not receive any feedback on the required information from the selected winners within 2 working days after the winner announcement was made, GardeniaKL reserves the right to select a new winner as a replacement.

  13. The judges' decision is final, conclusive and binding. No negotiations or correspondence will be entertained.

  14. GardeniaKL reserves the absolute right at any time to vary, postpone, re-schedule, extend or terminate the Gardenia Children's Day Short Video Challenge 2022.

  15. GardeniaKL reserves the absolute right at any time to change, amend, delete or add to the Rules and Regulations at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

  16. GardeniaKL is not responsible for any loss, damages, injuries, or accidents that may occur as a result of participating in the Contest.

  17. GardeniaKL reserves the right to use the names and photographs of winners for advertising purposes, commercial, and publicity, without any prior notice to the winners and the winners shall not be entitled to claim ownership or any form of compensation for such use.

  18. By joining the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of this contest.

  19. By joining the Contest, participants acknowledge that all information provided is true, accurate and complete.

  20. By participating in this contest, participants agree to give permission to GardeniaKL for processing purposes and also not limited to the use of your personal data for company activities regarding our latest products and offers along with any updating purposes required by us.   21. All entries must be received by the Organizer on or before 11:59 p.m. on 10th December 2022. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any incomplete and late entries. The Organiser and the companies involved in this Contest shall not be held liable in any way for delays, non-deliveries and/or interruptions of the visuals sent or received via any Facebook and/or Instagram account in conjunction with the Contest. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behaviour is strictly prohibited.
